  • Standardised assessment to assist with the diagnosis of brain-based conditions, such as dementia 

  • Clinical opinion about possible causes of changes in someone’s thinking and memory 

Baseline Neuropsychology Assessment

  • Standardised assessment of function prior to neurological or neurosurgical procedures (e.g. epilepsy surgery, deep brain stimulation, tumour surgery) 

  • Assessment to capture a person’s function at a certain point in time, relevant if there is a condition that may impact future cognitive function 

Neuropsychology Profiling

  • Detailed assessment of cognitive strengths and difficulties which can help inform treatment planning and guide other therapies 

  • Documentation of changes or recovery following brain injury or illness 

Decision-Making Capacity Assessments

Comprehensive evaluation of how cognitive function impacts decision-making regarding specific decisions, such as:  

  • making or changing a Will or Power of Attorney 

  • financial or legal decisions

  • decisions about living arrangements 

Information and Counselling

  • Extended explanation of assessment findings and what they mean in everyday life 

  • Practical strategies to manage cognitive difficulties 

  • Support and education for family members and carers of a person who has experienced cognitive changes  

Supervision and Mentoring

  • Supervision for neuropsychologists and neuropsychology registrars

Once a referral is received, we will contact you to arrange an appointment and discuss the next steps.
